Bha+ra+tha.
Bha(இயல்) - Bhaava = pure formless Consciousness or Soul.
Ra(இசை) - Raaga = Mind which has likes n dislikes, Senses. Memory. Ego.
Tha(நாடகம்) - Thaala = Body which is biological. Bone marrow, bone, blood, flesh, secretions, etc.
The message of Bhaaratha is that you are not this body or mind. You are pure formless Consciousness. Knowing such truth through experience i.e., thru strenuous effort or say Thapas, that "I am not this body ; I am not this mind" but "I am pure formless Consciousness" is mukthi, moksha, enlightenment, Freedom.
Though it's not ez. Though such experience of one's true nature takes long time & many sacrifices , it's worth to submit oneself for the same. bcoz it is the highest experience of freedom one can attain in life !!
Thath thvam asi - You are that.
Ayam athma Brahma - This Self is Consciousness.
Aham brahmasmi - I'm pure formless consciousness.
In Tamil & Malayalam too the same culture once has been existent.
இயல் , സ്വഭാവം (consciousness or ones nature). இசை, രാഗം (rise n fall patterns of mind, emotions). நாடகம், നാടകം (body or visible entity where emotions are displayed).
